BSNL DATAONE broadband configuration for DIGISOL router DG-BG4100N

Recently,I came across that power fluctuations often lead to reset of above mentioned digisol router.In that case not only your  SSID will be changed to default 'DIGISOL' but also your wifi password protection will be removed. Also, the LED in front of internet in your router will show red colour.No need to worry !!

To configure your router, just follow these steps:-

1) Connect to wifi -DIGISOL on your laptop.

2)Open any browser and enter 192.168.1.1 in address bar and hit enter.

3)Now, type Username and password both as "admin" (without quotes,obviously alphabets only).

4)click on wizard

5)In first step of wizard enter VPI as 8 and VCI as 35 and click next.

6)In WAN connection type choose PPP over Internet(PPPoE). Encapsulation Mode need not be changed from LLC/SNAP. Click next

7)IN WAP IP Settings choose Obtain Ip address automatically, tick Enable NAT, Click Next

8)Now in PPP username and password enter your broadband username name and password. For bsnl username may be is in form of xyabcdefghij where abcdefghij is your landline number with STD code,without 0 as prefix, xy is some alphabet combination given by BSNL. Default password is "password" unless you havn't changed it.

9) click next and  no change is to be made in next step, click next

10)click finish.And wait for reboot of your modem

That's it !!!

Now your internet LED will be turned to green.
